Back again jogging down the memory lane..We used to have a music programme in the 90's showing Top 10 songs.. A couple of songs were always interesting and I would bet with my cousin which one would be No.1...The first song was very peppy and the second one was a little bit on the smoother and slow side...Peppy stayed on the Charts as the top one for many weeks and the other one vanished without a trace..After many years people listen to non peppy song and the other one needless to say we don't even remember the peppy song. Success and Fame I would say... Success is continuous effort, persistence and hardwork.. Fame is an overnight sensation...Success stays with you longer than Fame that's my personal opinion.... You carve a road for others or leave a trail.....You remain in the memory very much longer.....

I was watching one of the Hindi movies where the actor said he was writing daily letters to his family..I went into the past and postman , post box and all came flashing in front of me..Life was so simple people used to write without even a single doubt that someone would sneak into the information... There was a bigger element of Trust, Honesty and more importantly personal connection where words speak more to what it was intended for and no chance of interruption.. Nowadays people tend to reply straightaway rather than listen, understand and then reply.I have seen some letters where it's been kept records for many years just to refresh down the memory lane.... "it's very simple to be happy but it is very difficult to be simple"...

I recently was on a family vacation visiting North of India.... During my stay in one of the hotels I was struck by the genuineness of an individual, honesty and Post service.. I normally engage with people and the person was working in the restaurant and won't say in What capacity....I asked him what he was doing and he said to me that he has done a diploma in computers and cleared the First level in Banking Exams and is preparing for the next level.. That shook me big time and deep into my thoughts dwelling upon and finally saying that is real success.... I am always of the opinion that things which come easily get away soon and things which come after hard work, unwavering commitment stays forever... I hope the person gets much deserved level in his life and I genuinely wish him all the very best for the future...Apologies I may have made some grammatical mistakes so please accept my sincere apology...
