Location: Morgantown, PA How You Will Make an Impact? The Finance Operations Manager provides analysis support to Executive Operations Staff and is a liaison between Morgan Operations & Morgan Finance. The successful candidate applies specialized knowledge across various disciplines to manage daily business activities. Cultivates and maintains inter- and intra-organizational contacts. Preempts potential problems.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Provide analytical support for any capital project requests. Working closely with the Project Managers to ensure company requirements are met including payback, discounted cash flows, and adequate supporting documentation
• Demonstrate ability to audit items such as inventory cycle counts and 5S or Kaizen events
• Lead multi-department teams for development of new processes and/or updating of current processes or procedures
• Work closely with Regional Operations Leaders to create ad-hoc reporting as needed, experience with Power BI is a plus
• Participate in monthly closing, reporting, and executive summary
• Prepare and consolidate presentation materials and/or reports using Microsoft platforms
• Other duties as assigned

Required Credentials

• Masters degree in Finance or Accounting required
• Manufacturing experience required
• 5+ years of successful experience in a related position
• Financial analysis experience
• Project management experience
• Ability to act as gatekeeper and escalate relevant information to executives as needed
• Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Competent personal computer and IT skills. Skilled in the use of standard office equipment (e.g., copiers, business telephone systems, projectors)
• Proficient in Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint as well as collaboration tools such as MS Teams
• JD Edwards experience preferred
• 25% travel required

You Must Be Able to Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or Lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
